Burial information was gathered from synagogues, individuals and funeral homes. While many cemeteries, synagogues and individuals were helpful in allowing access to their records, old, damaged, incomplete, or missing records made the task of compiling information a challenge.

- When searching for a name such as Stein, the system will bring you to all names that contain “stein” in them. To avoid this use quotes at the beginning and end of the name (i.e., “Stein”).
