Educational Capacity Building: Early Childhood and Congregational Education
The Educational Capacity Building Department serves the needs of Cleveland’s Jewish educational programs, including congregational programs and early childhood centers.
Our vision is to provide vibrant, meaningful, memorable experiences in which participants encounter the relevance and excitement of Jewish values, texts, traditions and community.
Support services are provided for professional licensure of teachers in Jewish Education Center-affiliated day schools.
The Teacher Center is a hands-on gathering place where teachers can find professional guidance and materials for creative classroom planning. Teachers learn from each other, share ideas and work together in an atmosphere of comfort and creativity!
Teen Initiatives and Programming
Advocacy for teenagers is one of the things we do best! We believe that a variety of quality informal Jewish experiences enrich the lives of our youth and help to nurture a Jewish identity that will last a lifetime.
