The Ohio Israel Agricultural and CleanTech Initiative (OIACI) was established under The Negev Foundation to promote and enhance trade opportunities and facilitate technology transfer and cooperation between Ohio and Israel in the agriculture, food, and CleanTech industries.

OIACI acts as a matchmaker and facilitator for synergistic opportunities and has accounted for over $100 million in trade between Ohio and Israel over the last 15 years while working with Ohio and Israeli companies. OIACI meets its objectives by participating in trade shows, presenting seminars, facilitating the demonstration of company products, and assisting in technology transfer. The initiative plans economic trade missions for delegations in the Ohio and Israel regions and promotes and coordinates collaborative research and development.

With Israel being a pioneer and leader in water technology and innovation, OIACI is focused on bringing new innovative water technology to Ohio and assisting in Ohio’s water issues. OIACI is in a unique position to facilitate communication between Ohio and Israeli entities in the water sector pertaining to agriculture and CleanTech water and wastewater management opportunities.
