The Employment Support Service assists all Cleveland Jewish community members facing layoffs, unemployment, under-employment and re-entry to the workforce as a result of the economy.

In response to the economic downturn, Strengthening and Growing Jewish Cleveland, a program of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, in partnership with the Jewish Family Service Association put into effect a network of support for job seekers.
The Jewish Community Employment Support Service assists all Jewish community members facing layoffs, unemployment, under-employment and re-entry to the workforce as a result of the economy.
The complete network of employment supports include:
- Individual Assistance coupled with self-directed job search tools
- Career Transition Workshops
- Community Connection Volunteers who provide coaching, industry specific and organization/business specific connections
