Private Duty services are non-medical services that help people recover from a minor illness or when general assistance is required to live safely at home. These services are provided on a private-pay basis and are covered by most long-term insurance plans.

Private Duty services are non-medical services that help people recover from a minor illness or when general assistance is required to live safely at home.  These services are provided on a private-pay basis and are covered by most long-term insurance plans. Services include:

  • Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
  • Meal planning, preparation and shopping
  • Assistance with walking, home exercise program and rehabilitation activities
  • Medication reminders
  • Companionship
  • Light housekeeping

Private pay and most insurance accepted. Fees may be covered by Long Term Care Insurance, PASSPORT, My Care Ohio, Medicaid, Holocaust Survivor subsidies and other subsidies.
