At JFSA, we believe that work is an integral part of mental health recovery for individuals with disabilities. Work provides structure to the day, social interaction, a sense of purpose and intellectual fulfillment. JFSA offers two programs to help individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities face the challenges of locating and maintaining employment.

Opportunities of Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD)
In partnership with the ADAMHS Board, this program serves individuals living in Cuyahoga County with mental health disabilities so that they may achieve quality employment and independence.
Coordinators can assist individuals if they qualify to receive OOD services.

Supported Employment
This program serves individuals who live in Cuyahoga County and have a mental health diagnosis and are ready for employment. Services are based on consumer choice and can include:

• Job Search
• Job Retention
• Job Advancement
