At JFSA, we believe that work is an integral piece of fully participating in the community. JFSA offers several programs that help individuals with disabilities navigate locating and maintaining employment.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT THROUGH A GRANT FROM THE ADAMHS BOARD

This program serves individuals who live in Cuyahoga County and have a mental health diagnosis.

  • Job Clubs
  • Basic Computer Training
  • Peer Support Services

OPPORTUNITIES FOR OHIOANS WITH DISABILITIES (OOD) VENDOR SERVICES

This program serves individuals with various disabilities who have been referred to us by OOD.
Services are comprehensive and can include:

  • Vocational Evaluation/Career Exploration
  • Work Incentive Planning
  • Short-term Paid Work Experiences in the Community
  • Computer Skills Assessment and Training
  • Pre-Employment Transition Services for Students
  • Job Development and Job Coaching

WAIVER SERVICES THROUGH DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (DODD)

This program serves individuals with developmental disabilities who have a DODD waiver.
Services can include:

  • Career Planning
  • Individual Employment
