Jewish Federation of Cleveland Jewish Volunteer Network

Provides meaningful volunteer opportunities for the Jewish community to help repair the world in the Jewish and general communities.

Lisa Hacker, Director

The Jewish Volunteer Network (JVN) provides meaningful direct service volunteer opportunities for Jewish community members to engage in a variety of settings with many different age groups.

JVN’s mission is to increase the number of people who volunteer their time and expertise to meet community needs and to increase their engagement with the Federation as a result of their volunteer experiences. Volunteer opportunities are based on the values of chesed (kindness), tzedek (righteousness and justice) and tikkun olam (making the world a better place).

JVN serves as a clearinghouse for all of the Federation’s direct service volunteer opportunities and is the convening body for Jewish community organizations, day schools and synagogues that have volunteer opportunities to offer or have volunteers who are looking for specific opportunities.

JVN identifies and creates connections to volunteer programs which meet Jewish and general community needs.
