Senior Transportation Connection provides coordinated, accessible, affordable door-to-door rides for older adults and adults with disabilities across Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Founded in 2005 following research commissioned by the Mt. Sinai Health Care Foundation, which identified transportation as the leading barrier to independence for older adults in the county, STC was created as the shared answer to a problem no single city could solve alone.
Today STC collaborates with the cities and agencies of Cuyahoga County to operate a wheelchair-accessible fleet, a live Cleveland-based call center, and trained drivers who assist riders from door to door, keeping riders independent, healthy, and connected to the people and places that matter.
