Heights Jewish Center is the current owner and administrator of Harvard Cemetery.
Brett Cochran, Cemetery Operations Manager
The cemetery has 751 community members buried there who were affiliated with either Heights Jewish Center or Ohave Emmuna of Russian Israelites.
Vandalism occurred in 1993 and 200 monuments were toppled. Gravestones were then uniformly laid down in an attempt to improve the cemetery. Over the years maintenance in the cemetery has been limited.
Donors provided for some work in the cemetery- new headstones, trees were cut down, lighting was added, the fence repaired, some monuments were straightened.
The gate is locked; however, access can be scheduled by contacting Brett Cochran.
