Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple Arthur J Lelyveld Center for Jewish Learning

The Lelyveld Library includes a library for adults, one for children, and a collection of periodicals, DVDs and the latest books from Jewish authors.

The Arthur J. Lelyveld Center for Jewish Learning at Fairmount Temple, which celebrated its 25th Anniversary in April, 2011, includes:

 

  • The Sam and Emma Miller Library for adults
  • The Celia Smith Rogovin Children’s Library
  • 15,000 books
  • A growing collection of audiovisual materials
  • Subscriptions to more than 60 periodicals
  • The Arthur J. Lelyveld Center for Jewish Learning is one of the largest synagogue libraries in the country
  • The Library is open to congregants and the community at large free of charge. It is open whenever the building is open.
